2014 MIJ Fender Mustang MG-65 – Olympic White

2014 MG-65 with a JD serial number, so fairly modern. Looks great, sounds great, setup on 10’s. Comes in a deluxe Fender gig bag with a non-original factory tremolo arm. Hugely versatile instruments that punch above their weight. My preference is for a KC mod, a humbucker or hotrail in the bridge position, but this stock instrument reminds me that these unmodified still scream, and produce an amazing breadth of sounds with the ability to switch between in-and-out-of-phase with the pickups. Nice guitar, great late 60s’ style tuners with the F logo, bright tortoiseshell guard with nicely aged cream pickup covers. The whole guitar has a wonderful vibe with the bright, ropey rosewood fretboard. 7.25″ vintage radius, weighs a lightweight 7lb and 7oz.

Condition is and easy 8.5/10 for the light play wear, one or two dings. Stock, never modified.

Excellent condition overall, with a couple of hard-to-find flaws primarily on the lower bout, light play wear, small chip on back of headstock, two marks/impressions on the top, light scratches from play, slight patina on the metal parts.
