1998 Fender TL-62 TV White-Blonde Telecaster w/ Bigsby MIJ

A beautiful Fender MIJ Japanese Tl-62 Telecaster with factory Bigsby. This one is modified with a Chet Atkins tremolo arm. As vibe-y as it gets. Resonant, fantastic looking, slab rosewood fretboard, excellent frets, light playwear, overall, a beautiful instrument that looks, sounds and plays fantastic. Very rare TV White-Blonde finish is really pretty showing the Japanese Ash body beneath, it looks like polished marble, really understated yet striking. This one absolutely screams, it sounds great in every position, does everything a Tele does, looks good doing it. Mustang style bridge with a string tree to make loading the Bigsby an absolute breeze. Low action, set up on 10’s, weighs in at a very nice 8lb and 4oz. Comes in a nice, clean, smokefree Fender branded hardcase. Wiring upgraded to vintage cloth at some point too, nice touch, the Japanese electronics can be low quality, it’s one of the places they save money. Out of sight but not exactly out of mind.

Condition is 8/10, shows light play wear, some tarnishing of metal parts. Not a new or pristine thing, but an excellent thing.

Condition

There are light impressions on the front and back, one or two hard to spot dings on the side, shallow marks on the pickguard. Generally, looks great. There are no cracks or ugly damage to the TV white/blonde finish, the guitar presents extremely well. The neck has a small ding on the top back edge of the headstock. Original Bigsby tremolo arm is included in the case.
