2012 Fender MIJ Jagstang – Faded Fiesta Red
This nice Fender Japan Jagstang refinished in Faded Fiesta Red with a tortoiseshell pickguard – looks great, pictures don’t do it justice, can’t quite capture the pink finish. The bridge pickup has been swapped for a hot Seymour Duncan Sh-1 JB type that reads at 15k+ and makes a great noise. Setup on 10’s and weighing in at a chunky 7lb 11oz, comes in a vintage Ibanez Roadstar case, which it fits perfectly inside. Who knew? Jagstangs are for the few, very underestimated, but they are excellent sonic devices that can do a lot of things. This one was painted by Pat Wilkins in Van Nuys CA, the body is an older 96 Japan model that had its neck replaced with a 2012 Fender Mustang. They are essentially the same thing, except Jagstang necks are much harder to find.
Condition is 8/10 for play wear and minor modification.
Condition
Light play wear, some small flaws. Stock pickup in the neck position, but modified wiring and bridge pickup. Not the stock pickguard, not the stock neck. The neck is from a 2012 Fender Japan Mustang MG-69. As always there are more pictures over at my own site, deegearlocker dotcom, than Reverb will host. See the pictures, ask for more.
